Junior Bridgeman is the perfect example of a star college player making the most out of his education. Bridgeman was one of Louisville’s top basketball players in the 1970’s and was a first round draft pick in 1975. After a very successful 12 year NBA career, Bridgeman put his college degree to good work. He now owns 280 fast-food chains and is an extremely successful businessman. If college athletes were paid, more athletes would have more successful business stories after their professional careers due to completing their college degrees.
